Two more players have officially joined the 2021 Pro Bowl thanks to the Madden NFL 21 Video Game Numbers Challenge. Kansas City Chiefs rookie running Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Philadelphia Eagles' RB Miles Sanders formally get the last roster spots. The statement also arrives just days before the first-ever ESPN Madden NFL Wild Card Duos, also of course, the Super Wildcard Weekend for the playoffs.
On Monday, January 4, EA's Madden social media brought the major news that players have officially determined which players receive the last two Pro Bowl roster spots. The spots were determined by the number of touchdowns that players scored with players in-game, also it appears two players moved off, virtually.
The Kansas City Chiefs already have NFL and Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes, a member of the Madden 99 Club. In their offseason, they included a beginner running back to help with the ground game. Clyde Edwards-Helaire revealed his skills, racking up over 800 yards rushing and four touchdowns in his first pro season. He had been a part of the following excellent Chiefs season, together with the group claiming the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage for the AFC Playoffs.
Edwards-Helaire finished No. 19 in relation to all running backs for total yards this year. While his squad did not fare as well, Sanders composed 867 yards and six touchdowns. He was also seventh in the league along with his 72.3 yards per game this season. Ahead of the vacations, the Madden NFL 21 Video Game Numbers Challenge launched. It allowed gamers to take part in choosing the final AFC and NFC Pro Bowl roster members through gameplay. All that was required was to evaluate touchdowns with players in particular game modes, and according to the closing numbers, they scored quite a little.
Gamers listed a total of over 9,000 touchdowns involving Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Miles Sanders. They each finished about 1,000 touchdowns within the second-place finisher in their respective conference too. While there won't be an official 2021 NFL Pro Bowl game held this season, both players finally get the honor added to their livelihood resumes.
