I understand your reluctance with sharing and also would really like to take this to PMs. I would also love to help out in the event that you've got a repository?I've produced a discord bot that looks at costs of everything and figures out what is most profitable to manufacture. The only reason I'm not releasing out to the wild because it's difficult to update the industry prices.Would like be to know how you're getting prices, or maybe only getting a feed from you.Just wish to add. You are awesome. Obtaining reliable market feed may unlock so many matters. I have so many ideas that are blocked due to lack of market data.
Educated guess: using blue stacks and scraping the marketplace data file. That's how the 3rd party EO marketplace tools work. There is no way to see the document system on unrooted/non-jailbroken phones etc.You probably pull from the files the client dumps in json on the local drive. None of them are encrypted/scrambled so that is achievable and I ondt believe against the TOS.
The issue arises with generating the market question in the first place. If you don't spend your time on the client doing manual market questions, you've a not do that and part ifld against TOS.Are you cool with third parties hitting the site API? It's possible to observe the API URLs in case you assess the network asks it is making. I put the API behind Cloudflare therefore it should be safe for you to reach it as far as you desire.
You are welcome! Let me know if you make something cool with it.May be a fantastic idea to cache API calls onto a CDN for historical purposes, perhaps daily outputs, this way we could generate long term trends on the data. Also, Are you really capturing locations for your buy and sell orders? Could be Neat to break this down by different regions to see need. Jita is a mess right now.The API provides a list of historic stats, so you shouldn't have to cache anything. :-RRB- And yeah, I have places but I am not exposing that however.
Yeah, do it! I'll write up some docs for the API at some point and set them on the webpage, however you should be able to figure it out by just taking a look at the network tab in a browser.I'm looking at making some personal tools, so that is really helpful. It happens to me that this could be integrated with sheets pretty easily, too, since information could be processed and loaded via scripts. If I make them and use themI'll share them, but not until they're affirmed. I have also used all my spare time actually playing the sport instead of working on gear.
